Aly Patterson
Aly Patterson is the Student Law Clerk. She assists the attorneys in drafting motions, ordering and downloading police reports, and reviewing discovery. Aly is extremely passionate about helping people and making sure they don’t feel like just another number in the crowd.
Aly is currently a second-year law student at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. At Sturm, she is involved in the Student Trial Lawyers Association and the Tribal Wills Project. Prior to this, she received her B.A. in Criminal Justice from High Point University, with minors in Legal Studies and Psychology. At High Point, she was heavily involved in and was on the Executive Board of a national co-ed service fraternity, and she was the captain of HPU’s Mock Trial Team.
In her free time, Aly enjoys cycling, going to the movie theatre, watching the Colorado Avalanche, and painting. She also prioritizes volunteering when she can and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
