Abigail LeBrun

Abigail LeBrun is a dedicated and effective advocate who practices in Criminal Defense, Traffic, and Personal Injury. She combines strong courtroom advocacy with careful preparation and a practical approach to help her clients navigate challenging legal matters.
Prior to joining Smith & Weidinger, Abigail served as a Deputy Public Defender with the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office, representing clients in misdemeanor cases and gaining extensive courtroom experience. She later practiced at a private criminal defense firm, handling felony, misdemeanor, municipal, and traffic matters, as well as personal injury and civil litigation cases.
Abigail earned her law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she was a Sturm Law Scholar and earned a Certificate of Specialization in Constitutional Rights and Remedies. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in Early Childhood and Family Studies, with a minor in Law, Societies, and Justice. Before law school, Abigail worked as a teacher, developing the communication and relationship-building skills that continue to shape her approach to working with clients. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado.
