Molly is vigorous and effective advocate for her clients. Prior to working for Smith & Weidinger, Molly obtained courtroom experience as an intern with the Albany County Prosecutors' Office in Wyoming, and also with the Augusta County Commonwealth Attorney's Office in Virginia.
Molly proudly obtained her law degree from the University of Wyoming College of Law and served as President of the Equal Justice Wyoming chapter while in attendance there. Before that, she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree program in Political Science with an emphasis in National Security at Virginia Tech.
Mara Weidinger, M.S.W. brings to the firm a deep understanding of bio-psycho-social disruption, with a hybrid skill set in social work and insurance claims. She has managed a large case load in both clinical and legal settings, and Mara has significant experience counseling individuals and families experiencing emotional, social, physical, and financial distress.
Before joining the firm as a Technical Writer, Mara worked for a prominent personal injury firm doing Legal Case Management and Medical Billing, and she also did Social Work for a notable long-term care center.
Mara graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University with a Bachelor's in Human Services, and obtained her Masters in Social Work from the George Warren Brown at Washington University in St. Louis.
Mara understands the necessity and value of multidisciplinary teams and enjoys the complex intersection between social work, law and medicine.
Bradley E. Smith is a skilled and dedicated criminal defense attorney. He specializes in Criminal Law, DUI & Traffic Law, Post-Conviction Relief, and is one of the most effective trial lawyers in the state.
Prior to co-founding Smith & Weidinger PLLC, Bradley has served as a Deputy District Attorney in Mesa County, Colorado and as a Denver Assistant City Attorney. He also served honorably as a United States Navy Officer with over six years of overseas service in Japan, East Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
Bradley proudly obtained his law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law and he obtained his bachelor's education from the University of Colorado-Boulder. He is licensed in the state and federal courts of Colorado.

Johana Cañas, B.A. is the firm's legal assistant. In addition to drafting key correspondence, she meticulously monitors the flow of legal and medicolegal documents on the firm's criminal defense and personal injury cases to ensure that our clients can expect forward progress and accuracy.
Before joining the firm, Johana gained significant experience in childcare and school programming, creating lesson plans and leading activities and interactions which emphasized prosocial behaviors and emotional growth.
